“Movement has always been a big part of my life, starting with dancing my way through childhood. Beginning my professional dancing career at 18, I cruised around the world and performed in several theatres in Europe before finishing up at Moulin Rouge in Paris - my dream job!”

I returned to Australia some years later to complete my university studies and it was then that I was introduced to Pilates. A physiotherapist recommended it for ongoing back pain caused by an old dance injury and after my first session I was hooked.

Pilates was particularly supportive during my pregnancy and integral for building strength and stamina to keep up with my busy boy! It was then that I decided to leave the corporate life behind to become an Instructor, completing my Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (PilatesITC) in 2018.

I love the positive effect that Pilates has on both the mind and body and that everyone can do it. My favourite thing about teaching is building strong connections with my clients and being a part of their movement journey. It is incredibly rewarding to watch them experience the amazing benefits of the practice and to leave the studio feeling more energised, taller and more connected to themselves. I have a special interest in women’s health, particularly pre and post natal and look forward to extending my studies further in this area in the future to complement my teaching.

Outside of the studio, I like to keep active - more Pilates please! I also love tuning into a great podcast or Netflix series and getting out with my family exploring our new hometown.
