Osteopath

“I was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time when choosing osteopathy as a career. The human body was always a strong interest of mine and I found it incredibly fascinating.”

Allied health was always the field I wanted to be in and to call myself an osteopath is something I am very proud of. After 6 years of practice, I still love seeing patients’ spirits lift after their osteopathic treatment; they stand prouder, smile bigger and walk stronger. It's incredibly rewarding, and the gratitude received is phenomenal.

The job never plateaus and each day I am faced with something different, someone new and something challenging. Whether it be a pregnant woman with pelvic girdle pain, a newborn with a head turning preference, a woman with bladder urgency or a tradie having sleepless nights due to their low back pain, I endeavour to help.

I have attended several post-graduate courses over the years to deepen my skills and knowledge in my areas of interest including pregnancy, women’s pelvic health and infants.

I love a weekend getaway or returning to the fresh country air that I grew up in to spend quality time with my family. Remaining fit, healthy and active is important to me, especially now having to chase after my daughter. I also particularly enjoy playing netball of a weekend for the social, mental and physical benefits.
